St. Luke's Episcopal Church Health Ministries

Health Ministry is a ministry focusing on both healing and health, combining the ancient traditions of the Christian community and the knowledge and tools of modern health care.
Parish Nurse Ministry is shaped by Christ's concern for all aspects of the human condition and directed to the service of the whole person; mind, body and spirit.
Parish Nursing is caring for wholeness — mind, body, and spirit — by combining the knowledge and the skills of nursing practice with the spiritual and religious tenets that underlie our health. The Parish Nurse is a professional RN whose holistic practice focuses on the prevention of illness, health promotion and health maintenance.
