Sunday School and Children Activities
St. Lukes has a very active children ministry with Sunday School classes meeting every Sunday at 10:00AM for all ages.
Nursery services are also available for the 9:00AM and 11:00AM services.
Music and Choir
The St. Luke's choirs meet for rehearsals on Wednesday evenings and include times for everyone from Kindergarten through Adult. All are welcome to join our music ministry! Please see Betsy Brandt, Cathy Ogle, or any choir member for more information. "He who sings once, prays twice."
· St. Luke's Singers (grades K - 2) and Disciples (grades 3 - 6) meet at 6 p.m. in choir room
· St. Luke's Saints (grades 8 - 12) meet at 6:45 in choir room
· St. Luke's Adult Choir meets at 7:30 p.m. in choir room (following the Healing Service)
Outreach
St. Luke’s Episcopal Church has many programs of outreach and mission. We seek to serve and make responsible use of our human resources, ministering to those in need.
The need for aid in Powhatan continues. The goal of the Outreach Commission is to continue supporting the projects now in place and to look for new ways in which we can help those in need. Whether through church-supported projects or the individual ministries of our parishioners, St. Luke’s continues to be visible all across the county as we strive to continue Christ’s work here on earth
